Response to TN Rep Cooper-I'm Worried

Congressman Cooper,

How dare you write to tell us you’re worried, and then suggest several sentences later that we need to support more of the actions that have been root causes of our current national economic situation!

Every demonstrated redistribution taker and "welfare serf creator" like you and your "bipartisan" Republican buddies apparently have no shame. All of you who have taken us down a known path to pestilence in all arenas can count on being held accountable every day until the next election. Your pathetic fear mongering babble about needing to raise the debt limit and keep spending is truly infuriating.

Lack of "bipartisan" action is not the cause of this problem. Rather it is decades of "bipartisan" movement toward pestilence in all arenas...and particularly in our spending and debt! Now it the time for true right leaders as I define them in my book to draw very hard lines, and to ensure that every step we take as a nation is toward excellence!

Stop this shameless sideshow barker shuffle! Get off your bottoms in DC and cut the spending now! You might start with a 10 or 15% cut in pay and benefits for every government employee excluding our military and any security personnel who put their lives on the line for us citizens. Those cuts should start with yourselves and your staff/aides! Lead by example.

The majority of government employees at all levels have much less responsibility and accountability than any bank teller. Yet govt. employee pay and benefits far exceed that of a bank teller. Slash federal government numbers of pay grades, pay, and benefits; and bring them back in line with that of office staff paper shufflers in the business world. Start now and cut deep.

Invest serious time getting the Fair Tax transition moving - NOW! That single move would do wonders to cut the size of government and raise tax revenues.

End your out of control redistribution vote buying; including the insane practice of increasing unemployment pay to 99 weeks! Or, allowing people to use food stamps for anything other than the most basic necessities. And stop any from drawing a welfare check who won't take a drug test to prove they're clean.

Follow that by purging the payrolls of every trumped up new federal job Obama and you in his horde have added since the meltdown.

Follow that by immediately ending welfare of any form for any who have entered this country illegally. Immediately ship them back to their home country at that country's expense. If that country pushes back on that, cut back any foreign aid they are currently receiving.

Ensure that not one dime of taxpayer funds or new debt is spent on enabling the ongoing slaughter of 3,000 "humans to be" every day. You and all like you have enabled this. So I urge you to consider this suggestion I made in my book for all who refuse to "defend the defenseless unborn"...yet claim we should trust you to defend our nation

As you go to sleep each night picture a pit stacked with the remains of more than 50,000,000 American "humans to be" that have been added to that pit since Roe vs. Wade! Try counting them as another tiny newly mangled, maimed "human to be" is tossed into that pit every 30 seconds! How proud are you of allocating and redistributing any taxpayer dollars and new debt for that purpose???

Slash overseas foreign aid in all forms. And forget the ongoing push to put us under one world government or UN controls. We expect all DC leaders to keep the world off our backs; and out of our homes, gun cabinets, and wallets!

Indefinitely hold or cancel any already authorized appropriations...in all forms. That includes capital outlays, new hiring, and any and all bogus "investments". It definitely includes all the new spending buried in every "take, spend, and waste exercise" passed since 2006! Start by voiding Obamacare and the "Frank N Dodd" financial bill travesties.

End the practice of forcing loans to be given to any who can't pay them. Stop creating new debt for my grandchildren to bail out banks and citizens who gambled and lost on their housing investments.

Hire a swat team of hard core businessmen to audit, and force Obama to deliver on his unmet promise of "transparency" in all government actions. Turn them loose to find every shady stimulus grant, loan, handout, campaign payback, and "investment". Stop any and all that amount to nothing but shameless vote buying. End and call in any bogus "stimulus" handouts and poorly directed "loans".

Clean out Obama's gang of czars and their staffs...now! End their collective reign of terror and their spending!

Stop subsidizing the inefficient process of using corn for fuel versus food. Get the ethanol out of our gasoline. And end the creation of those God awful ineffective "windmills". Talk about insanity! We stop pipelines and drilling in the name of protecting our natural vistas and wildlife. And then subsidize and encourage the clearing of more land to grow corn...and to cover with huge, ugly, totally impractical windmills. Don't spend a dime of my money for either of those horribly flawed "brain burp" concepts.

Cut extra deep in all the above arenas...and then get busy reprioritizing the investments in defense capability that will keep our military and country the best equipped in the world. That should include continuing the right space programs. Your collective actions in these arenas have assured that our children and grandchildren WILL be threatened and dominated by any of the multitude of countries that are filling the defense void your actions have allowed.

Our defense must start by truly protecting our borders. The record on making that happen is pathetic! Start now! Nullify the paper shuffling bills, and redirect government employees to our borders with the tools and intent to get the job done! I suggest you do something that truly enables us to remove and keep ALL illegals out of Tennessee. And forget about your ongoing push for "amnesty" for those already here. If they entered illegally, get them out of "our home" - NOW!

Act now to end any spending that enables the Islamic/Sharia law attack on this country. Start by removing all those in our military and government at any level. Maintain that position until there is a broad movement within their ranks to renounce current Islamic practices as codified in their Sharia law.

Their uncivilized practices have been demonstrated every day in their ongoing worldwide 1400 year attack on the rights of their own women and children. And in their openly declared war on all who are "non-believers". Start immediately to prevent any successful Sharia attacks on our laws and Constitution and economy.

Surely you, your staff, and your colleagues can't be proud of your efforts! Can you name even one broad critical area where you've taken this country toward excellence?

Any citizen who gives a damn and understands the concepts of true responsibility, accountability, and stewardship know your demonstrated record. To date your record shows you are just another proven prolific prevaricator and purveyor of pestilence who hides under the labels of Blue Dog Democrat and “bipartisan”!

So keep right on worrying about the wrong things. We will ensure that we elect a replacement who truly enables our state and nation to once again pursue excellence!
I suggest you consider relocating to the emerging new country of Sociotonia I created in my book. You sir are a classic role model for many Sociotonians!

Dear Friends,

I’m worried.

I hope you have been following the debate in Washington. If so, you know that failure to reach a deal on the debt limit would mean our country, for the first time in history, would not be able to pay its bills. We could run out of money for important programs like Social Security or even paying our troops.

We’ve been warned by the credit ratings agencies that we’re dangerously close to the precipice, and both parties know the consequences of what could happen as a result. This week, the Gang of Six in the Senate released a bipartisan plan. Although it’s gaining momentum in the Senate, House leaders, so far, won’t even agree to consider it.

We have House leaders from one party saying “no cuts, period” and the other saying “our deal, only.” There are a lot of us in the middle who disagree with both, but there aren’t enough of us to form a majority.

This issue is so important and cannot be ignored. From now until the debt limit is reached on August 2, I’ll send you a daily update on what’s going on in Washington. Please continue to pay close attention, because we will all suffer if our nation cannot pay its bills.

I’m looking for a balanced approach, but default is NOT an option. What can you do? Write letters to the editor, hit the blogs, call the radio talk shows, stage a protest in your community. We’ve all got to do something.
COUNTDOWN: 11 Days Until We Reach the Debt Limit

- Although I’ve voted consistently for plans from both parties to avoid default, every vote on the debt ceiling to this point has been purely symbolic because nothing proposed so far can pass both the House and Senate.

- The best chance for a bipartisan deal hinges on the recently released 'Gang of Six' plan and I’ve co-signed a letter to urge leadership to bring the plan to a vote on the floor.

- We don't know if the ‘Gang of Six’ plan will come for a vote, but it's our best hope. And even if it does, we don't know if there is enough time to prevent rating agencies from still downgrading the credit rating of the United States.

Tomorrow, I’ll send information on what specifically could happen on August 3rd, the day after we reach the deadline.
