Ban All Mercury Bulbs!

As we continue this examination of life in the two new countries, let’s zoom in more closely on life in your mud brick homes and apartments.

You citizens who opt for Sociotonia™ will spend a lot of time there since there will be so few real jobs to take you away from home; so let’s be sure you clearly understand what you must do in the arena of home life to truly live per your past demonstrations and plentiful printed prose.

We’ve already covered your required maximum size and land boundaries for living quarters. In addition, each and every one of your homes must be totally “green”… in every aspect of that which any of your leaders have defined and/or mandated!

For example, all of your electrical lighting must use the new, “green”, imported mercury containing light bulbs which your crack team… the 110th Sociotonian™ majority controlled Congress has mandated!

That action was another serious disconnect in Sociotonian™ logic! Apparently your substitution of deviant behavior tolerance and condom application to replace fundamental “science” courses has morphed out a fact that we’ve known since the late 1950s! Mercury IS VERY TOXIC!

Many of you Left-followers and us Right-seekers were actually once well aligned that we needed to rid our world of that toxic risk and we did so… many decades ago! Yet you have let your leaders legislate and regulate it back into our lives as a mandate for all citizens and businesses in the name of “saving energy” and “going green”! How can this be?

Surely you supporters of this particular green concept do understand that each time one of these bulbs breaks that will cause a very toxic mercury release that must very carefully controlled, and will be very difficult and expensive to safely clean up?

Do you understand that you and your kids could really be permanently harmed or die if you “fumble” any of those cleanup actions?

As production volumes are scaled up to meet your new demand, what about all those lucky citizens in some country… somewhere… who will work in the factories of the leaders who produce these mercury containing bulbs?
…Will you, your leaders and their leaders feel their pain?

And, what will you do as trash disposal pits across Sociotonia™ and around the world are filled with ever more mercury. You know the majority of broken bulbs will end up there due to being secretly, “inexpensively” ditched with the regular trash.

That mercury will seep back into your land and streams. It will fill the bellies of your fish and yourselves, and your children who escape abortion!

The common sense “green” outcome of all that is more likely to be a lot of “gangrene” from all the human and animal deaths you’ll create!

By the way, exactly which of your great Sociotonian™ political and business leaders conceived that environmentally criminal legislative action?

Which among your leaders who created this “mercury mess” own stock in the businesses that will benefit from all this?
